WELCOME TO BAD RITUAL, A NSFW ZINE FEATURING THE VILLAINS FROM BOKU NO HERO ACADEMIA

Bad Ritual is a NSFW (Not Safe for Work) zine centered around the villainous characters from the series Boku No Hero Academia. We are an 18+ project.
Contributor's work will be separated into two books:
‣ One perfect-bound, printed book of approximately 70 pages.
‣ One 'Hard-Kink' PDF containing material deemed extreme for print (approx 35 pages).
Across both projects we will be looking for 27 artists, 11 writers, and 4 merch artists to contribute:
‣ Our main zine will be taking 20 artists and 5 writers
‣ Our Hard Kink PDF will be taking 7 artists and 6 writers
Providing we break even, contributors and mods will receive a full bundle as compensation.
‣ This zine is 18+ only and the mods will be checking contributor IDs following application acceptance. Any pictures sent to mods will be approved and deleted within 24 hours.
‣ We will not be allowing the following characters in the printed or PDF books of this zine:
- Underage villains (including Toga and Mustard) and La Brava.
- Any canon hero (not matter how morally grey).
- Any student.
‣ The following kinks will be allocated to the hard-kink PDF only:
- Non con/dub con
- Watersports
- Gore/extreme violence
- Necrophilia
- Ageplay
- Bestiality
‣ We will not be allowing ‘Hero AUs’, or AUs where characters are aged down.
‣ 'Dabi is Touya Todoroki' theory accepted.
‣ You must be prepared to make a discord account or already have one for this zine as we will be using this for communication.
‣ Written language used for this zine will be English.
‣ Make sure you can work with the schedule provided before applying. We intend to be strict with the final deadline set.
‣ Your friendly mods are here to support you, so please be open if you encounter any issues, and we will endeavour to alleviate them!
‣ No publishing of finished images or writing on social media until customers have received their orders (this includes live streaming while working on your pieces). We allow and encourage previews to be published to whip up buzz for the zine but check with a mod, first.
‣ Hard kinks are to be discussed in the related discord channels only, to avoid the discomfort of other contributors.
‣ Merch artists, please note - all merch created will need to be PG-13.

We are looking to see the following across three pieces of work:
‣ BNHA Villains to feature in AT LEAST one piece
‣ NSFW showing off a good understanding and working knowledge of human anatomy in AT LEAST one piece
‣ A background in AT LEAST one piece.
Showing off multiple characters within one composition encouraged.
Please also link a portfolio of other works. If linking a social media account, please ensure your works are easily accessible.

Two pieces of no more than 2.5k each. One must be NSFW. One must contain a BNHA villain.
We will be looking for the following qualities:
‣ Grammar and spelling
‣ Characterisation, dialogue and character interaction
‣ Use of descriptive language
‣ Excellent smut!
‣ The ability to tell a complete story in the given word limit. We will accept one piece that is a snippet from a longer piece, but one should be a complete one-shot.
Please also link an account containing more of your works if possible.
Twitter threads will not be accepted.

Pre-orders are open from 18:00 GMT 09/10/20 to 23:59 GMT 06/11/20.
Is there an age restriction to this zine?
Yes. You must be over the age of 18 to purchase Bad Ritual.
How many limited edition bundles are there?
There are 50 limited edition bundles, which include our wonderful contest winner's dakimakura cover!
When will the zines be shipped?
We will be providing updates on our Twitter account with our progress, but tentatively during late December/early January.
